Lumos! Park your broom and take a break because today's coffee diary is the one and only, 943 King's Cross, a harry potter wizard-themed café at Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea! (Hongdae).

To start of, the building is about 3-4 stories high. There is a sign right outside that explains the floors. The sign says B1 tp 6F (6th Floor) but the café is only operated from B1 to 4F. The floors are:
6F Death wizard infested area | Muggle Access Not Allowed
5F Department of Magic | Muggle Access Not Allowed
4F Wizard Dormitory
3F Banquet Hall
2F Wizard Café
1F Magical Liquid Medicine OR Dessert&Food
B1 Wizard Hut
My family and I decided to go here on the day before we had to leave South Korea. Let me just say, BIG MISTAKE! We didn't get to tour the whole building (ones that's accessible to muggles lol). We got our coffee and cakes and went to the second floor to sit and just enjoy the surrounding. Hongdae street where shopping and restaurants are located was a few minutes away, walking distance, because we had to go back for the 4th time to Noona Holdak Oven Chicken & Beer restaurant. We had to buy fried chicken for our last dinner is Seoul hence why we couldn't stay long at the café aside from leaving so late in the day.
As for the menu, it was limited. I felt like this café solely focused on the theme and not so much on food and beverages which is not a big deal to me because I heavily enjoy cafes, so desserts and coffee is what it's all about for me. The display of the desserts was organized just like any other bakery/cafes (see TripAdvisor page for inquiries). I got none other than Iced Caramel Macchiato with carrot cake, my niece got a Matcha Frappe that came with Oreo grinded cookie that represented dirt and a chocolate wizard hat to top it off and she got a cheesecake, and my boyfriend got Wizard Beer which is a non-alcoholic butterscotch flavored frappe. The drinks were amazingly delicious and the desserts weren't overly sweet which just made the best combo with our drinks.
*Update: There are different types of food available but seeing as we were there for a short amount of time, we were unable to list any that others may have ordered that strays away from sweets and coffee.
We went around 6pm which was still daylight but then ended up being dark by the time we left and the neighborhood wasn't entirely packed so business was slow. We were able to get a table and sit while we waited for our food to be ready. It didn't take long for our order to be ready but as we headed one floor up we were taking videos and pictures of the building. The decorations fit the theme really well. Honestly never been to anything Harry Potter themed aside from Disneyland/Disney World so it was nice to have a café themed after it.
Overall, Seoul is jam packed with cafes and it was nice to go to one that's themed and not only that, but it's Harry Potter themed. From decorations, to the menu, to the designated floors, 943 King's Cross café was a definite place to visit. For those traveling to Seoul and a Harry Potter fan at that, I definitely recommend going here. Make sure that you have spare time to visit because you want to be able to relax and enjoy the environment but also have time to sightsee and take lots of pictures!
Thank you everyone. Until next time...
